PALMERINO IN FLORENCE
The bus returned to Florence over a different
route that was much prettier and entered Florence through a very nice
area. So now I've seen both sides of
town. The cab entered the neighborhood where we
would stay for the workshop framed by the name of the road via del
Palmerino. The road runs from the top of Florence all the way to the top
of the hillside town of Fiesole. Despite its being a main road there really is
only room for one car at a time so when a car comes from the other direction
everyone has to slow down and pull over!
Another friend arrived a little while after I
did. She also arrived without her luggage!
