Spring At Last

Winter didn't want to let go of us last year in New England and this was the Winter That Wasn't.  Each year the Polar Vortex finally retreated back to the tundra and we now have longer days, warmer temperatures, flowers are coming up a little early (snow drops, crocuses, daffodils and I even have hyacinths, tulips and bleeding heart showing brave tops), birds singing and planning nests and families, and soon to be wonderful painting weather.  The frosty mornings are great times to paint, but I like all seasons and it's time for the transition.
