About me

I am a representational painter, living and working in New England. Using oil and egg tempera, I paint what I am close to and what is around me all the time – the earth, its resources and food – and have always returned to nature and organic subject matter by weaving into a storytelling process in still life and landscape a continuity of images as an explicit narrative. Having experimented for five years relearning classical realism, current work is now consisting of also abstractions within nature.
